The Brain #7
Benjamin Bang, known as "the Brain," encounters a series of humorous situations involving school and household mishaps. In one story, a mouse in the schoolhouse causes chaos when Benjamin tries to catch it, resulting in destruction that he must explain to the principal. The issue also features "Brainstorms," an illustrated sequence showing an elaborate Rube Goldberg-style contraption that Benjamin devises as an alarm clock, involving magnifying glasses, a porcupine, a toad, and a lightning bug, which ultimately wakes him with a loud clang from an iron ball dropping into a pot.
