The Brain #8

The issue contains two main stories. In "Chimp Suey," the Brain tangles with a chimpanzee that he believes is wearing a realistic costume, so he consults Professor Bristles' BrainPower Tester to determine why the chimp has been acting strangely late, only to discover the creature is genuinely real. In "The Brain vs. Cupid," the Brain attempts to outwit a magical imp named Cupid who causes people to fall in love; after Cupid uses a love poison trick on the Brain himself, the Brain becomes infatuated and chases a young girl on a scooter until Cupid's enchantment backfires on the imp, leaving him ensnared by his own spell.
