The issue contains two stories: "Knothead Nancy," in which Nancy arrives at the Bar-X Ranch for a vacation and plans to impress the ranch owner Mr. Sagebrush by cooking on an open range, only to have her elaborate outfit attract attention and lead to comedic misunderstandings; and an untitled story featuring the Kilroys, in which a character attempts to lift weights and impress others with his strength, only to be knocked down and embarrassed when confronted, leading to chaotic scenes at what appears to be a gym or practice space.
