This Christmas issue contains two stories featuring the Pixies. In the first story, the Mighty Atom uses his magic words to help the Pixies make popcorn and later recover a stolen watch by transforming into Pete Pixie, ultimately displaying the "tiniest time tower in all the world" to the children. The second story depicts Tom-Tom the elephant being awakened by a monsoon storm; with help from a red imp character and a blue elephant using magical vine powers, Tom-Tom is rescued from the dangerous floods and his life is saved.
