Mr. Staticwhisker and a group of gentlemen transport a secret laboratory apparatus to a remote location in the American desert while discussing safeguarding their experiments due to the influence of a mysterious "Victory Bug." A soldier broadcasts news of hope to marines facing Japanese forces, then uses an ingenious idea to stretch his jacket over a hollow log to fool approaching enemy headhunters into retreating. German military officials plot to capture and neutralize the Victory Bug—a small creature they believe is responsible for allied success—but the bug evades their grasp and strikes Hitler, identifying itself as the source of America's strategic advantage.
