The Spirit #13

The Spirit pursues a criminal through the Security Trust Building in Central City who has planted an explosive device set to detonate in ten minutes. As the Spirit chases the man across rooftops and through the building's upper floors, the criminal is accidentally caught in his own trap, falling through multiple floors before landing on baled rags that break his fall. The Spirit and Chief Dolan recover the criminal with his pockets full of greenbacks, and Ebony White arrives claiming credit for the apprehension, revealing he had followed the Spirit and helped by stretching wire across the roof to trip the fleeing suspect.
