This anthology issue contains multiple stories: "Hawk Knife" depicts a Native American warrior revealing to his tribe how he defeated the enemy chief in battle and pledging his continued devotion to his people's honor and hunting grounds. "Totem Tales" provides educational content about various Native American dwellings including the Tepee of the Plains, the Pueblos of the cliff-dwellers, the Chippewa Waginogan, and the bark tepee of the Woodland Indians. "Rustlers Strike It Rich!" follows Quint McClure and his outlaw gang as they plan and execute a scheme to rob one of the largest cattle herds in Texas, though their fortune proves short-lived.
