An anthology issue featuring "The Thing on the Beach," in which Dr. Haunt reveals a supernatural mystery: a glowing, tentacled creature lures victims to a shed with its mesmerizing light, and the entity preys on humans it selects to borrow their bodies for its own purposes. When a centaur and other mythological beings confront the creature, they discover it is actually an alien being that has been collecting victims, and the centaur ultimately hides in a cave to escape the monster's grasp.
