Thrill Comics #1

Thrill Comics #1 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Captain Thunder" follows a caped hero in conflict with criminals wielding chains. "The Phantom Scientist" depicts a mysterious man in a hat who befriends a homeless paperboy in the subway, then takes him to meet President Morris and two other men at a skyscraper apartment; Billy attempts to follow them but is stopped by a doorman, though he manages to reach Morris's office to report his discovery. A third story shows a frontier hunter who shoots a large animal and finds a baby in the wilderness; the prospector Nugget Ned brings the child to his cabin at Brand Braddock's ranch, and as he tracks a mountain lion back toward the cabin, he encounters murderous thieves.
