This anthology issue features two main stories. "Princess Pantha and the Crocodiles," written by Charles S. Strong, follows the jungle adventurer Princess Pantha and her companion Dane through treacherous jungle terrain where they encounter a medicine man named Malwuh and must navigate a dangerous crocodile-infested gorge. In a second story, the Phantom investigates a murder case involving a man named Moore; after discovering coal dust evidence at the crime scene, he uses a portrait of Moore to help track the killer and transforms his appearance with a portable makeup kit to pursue the investigation further.
