The issue features a complete Doc Strange adventure in which a woman desperately attempts to rescue a critically injured man with only two hours to live by calling upon mystical forces. After learning that the secret to his cure lies buried deep in ancient Egypt within the palace of the living King Khasami, she and her companions must travel back in time using Professor Fenton's time machine to retrieve it. The story also includes a Tom Niles adventure involving aerial combat and naval warfare off the coast of France and Gibraltar, where Tom participates in a broadside battle against Italian forces and helps route an enemy fleet, ultimately earning an ovation upon his return to Gibraltar.
