Thrilling Comics #12

Doc Strange faces a multi-layered conspiracy involving a sabotaged powder formula and enemy operatives. With aid from a mysterious Ghost character wielding magic powers, Strange infiltrates the War Department to stop a mob raid and recover stolen formulas, then pursues saboteurs to prevent them from delivering a dangerous ferrocaust compound to enemy ships. A character named Tom Niles uses the compound to destroy Nazi vessels, preventing the enemy from obtaining the secret weapon. The story concludes with Tom Niles returning as the featured character for the next issue's adventures.
