This anthology issue features three action stories: "Doc Strange," where the mysterious magician and his ally Betty Morris battle the evil Professor Fenton using a time machine; "The Lone Eagle," in which a pilot is selected for a dangerous mission to Jarvis Island to stop a dictator's forces from seizing the location, though the mission ultimately appears doomed; and "The Woman in Red," set at the Ajax Powder Company, where a woman in a red costume confronts criminals and murders at the facility, using her wits and a time-clock against the criminals who threaten her.
