Pee Wee and his monkey companion Golly encounter a scheming circus owner named Captain John who feeds animals looney powder to make them behave unpredictably, then plans to steal a bottle of pills that would cure them to monopolize the circus business. Pee Wee devises a plan to disguise Golly as a toy penguin and deliver the pills to Captain John, ultimately thwarting his scheme. In a secondary adventure, Pee Wee and Golly find a magical cart belonging to a monkey's uncle; after using a magical screwdriver to shrink it, they take it apart searching for a tree trunk, discovering the magic can restore it to full size.
