Tick Tock Tales [Tick Tock Comics] #23

This November 1947 issue is an anthology featuring Halloween-themed stories. One story follows two young girls who fire a toy cannon at teddy bears, which frightens the bears into fleeing; the girls later use magic chalk to draw a tree, demonstrating their magical powers. Another story features Pete becoming "The Mighty Atom," a pint-sized superhero who confronts the arsonist Artie and must test a new sunburn machine. "Table Technique" tells of a young boy named Raymond dining with animal companions Koko and Kolá, where his misbehavior at lunch results in his mother punishing him by making him sit out dessert.
