Tim Holt, as the Redmask, confronts a gang of desert robbers in "The Desert Robbers!" story. When a canteen-wielding drifter named Tim O'Brien encounters trouble with bandits, he dons his red mask disguise and battles the outlaws. The narrative escalates when Apaches, led by Tiswin and led into darkness by war drums, become involved in the conflict. Colonel Deegan at Fort Danger sends Redmask on a dangerous mission involving a train and a federal prisoner, setting up a climactic confrontation where Redmask must outwit both the Apaches and the soldiers pursuing him.
