Timmy the Timid Ghost #44

Timmy the Timid Ghost encounters a brown dog who asks for a spray to help him scare a cat, but Timmy is reluctant to assist. After the dog flies away, Timmy follows and discovers the dog sitting in a forest, where Timmy attempts to help by scaring things but fails. In a separate story titled "Nuts and Nuts," a newspaper editor named Mr. Walter Dowd assigns reporter Jim Peters to speak to squirrels after Peters complains about his mundane assignments. Later, Timmy encounters a messy situation at what appears to be a social event, where a character named Ernie complains about dust, and Timmy receives an invitation to a grand ball that evening.
