The issue features two stories: "Timmy the Timid Ghost," in which Timmy attempts to organize a best costume contest among ghosts but is interrupted by a witch entering the competition and frightening all the participants away with her genuine magic; and "Li'l Tomboy in 'The Scary Picture,'" where two children dare each other to see a horror film at a movie theater, only to discover that the supposedly scary movie isn't frightening at all when they finally watch it.
