Torchy #2

Torchy Todd becomes involved in a scheme when a man slips her pills that cause her to shrink, and she loses her hair and teeth temporarily; she discovers the pills were meant to help accumulate wealth. After recovering, Torchy and her friend Tess find a dog that has picked up Jennifer Blair's jewels in the park, leading them to attempt retrieving the items for a reward. Torchy is then offered a job as a taxi driver for the Purple Cab Company by Ed, though complications arise when Mr. Tracy, another applicant, also gets hired and Torchy must compete for the position while dealing with her financial troubles.
