An anthology of thirteen true aviation stories, this issue features "How Jimmy Doolittle Bombed Tokyo," depicting the famous 1942 raid; "Three Men on a Raft," in which shipwrecked sailors are rescued after 33 days adrift; "Lost R.C.A.F. Patrol," following a missing aircraft; and "He Flew 'Round the World to Get Home," chronicling a pilot's journey. The collection also includes stories of Captain Colin Kelly, an American Eagle who sank a Japanese battleship in December 1941 before being killed in combat, and other true accounts of wartime aviation heroism.
