True Comics #9

True Comics #9 is an anthology of factual stories presented in comic form. Featured stories include the Wright brothers' development of their first airplane in Santa Ana, California beginning in January 1912, where they built their aircraft from scratch and eventually learned to fly; a historical account of the French and British forces' struggle against Native American allies during the colonial era, depicting ambushes and battles in North America; and a narrative about General Edward Braddock's military campaign on July 8, 1755, in which he rejected advice from George Washington and Virginia scouts before engaging in a dangerous encounter with enemy forces near a fort.
