An anthology featuring three complete love stories. "The Sisters" follows a woman named Harriet who confesses to her sister Cynthia that she fell in love with Tom, a man Cynthia had invited to a party, and that Tom proposed to her. When Harriet breaks away from Tom, she later encounters him with another woman, Florence, only to discover that Florence is actually Cynthia's sister and that the siblings had orchestrated the entire situation. In a parallel storyline, a woman named Andy becomes involved with a man named Terry while working nights at a club; after misunderstandings and jealousy strain their relationship, they reconcile when Terry's sister Florence arrives and helps smooth things over.
