Twinkle Comics is an anthology featuring multiple stories, including "Marty and Mat" by Howard W. Post, in which a cat and girl discover a homemade pie and the cat enjoys a taste before being caught; a detective story in which a door-man assists the homicide squad in investigating a case involving clues found in a tea room and confrontations with criminals; and an adventure tale set on the high seas involving pirates, stolen loot, and a quest for revenge, wherein characters aboard ships seek to recover plundered gold and food supplies.
