This issue contains two main stories: "Low Destroyer," in which an Eagle Leader orders his landing gear skipped during a low-altitude bombing run against Nazi targets, nearly resulting in disaster; and "Parmalee's Pack!," a bonus feature about four fighter pilots trained by Captain Tom Parmalee who later go missing in action over Berlin during the Korean War, with Tiger Tom Parmalee himself later vanishing after pursuing a MiG into a thunderhead, leaving the squadron to conclude he was killed in action. The issue also includes an educational article on aircraft propulsion systems and flight principles.
