U.S. Fighting Air Force #11
This anthology issue contains three Air Force stories: "Operation Suicide," in which Colonel Ralph Foreman, dying from wounds sustained in battle over Korea, plays a dangerous game of hide-and-seek with enemy forces before making a final mission of doom; "May-Day Call!," featuring the crew of the B-29 bomber Big Betsy executing a perilous bombing run over Korea despite heavy flak damage and casualties; and an untitled story in which a pilot discovers a stone-pile temple marker, opens sealed instructions, and encounters a mysterious figure inside the temple—revealing himself to be Tony Clark, who escaped a Japanese prison camp ten years prior and has been held captive ever since, unaware the war had ended a week ago.
