This anthology issue contains three stories. "Fritzi Ritz" by Ernie Bushmiller follows Fritzi's attempts to start a vegetable garden with her companion Phil, where she enlists his help gathering supplies and spreading soil, only to end up exhausted while he relaxes indoors reading the results of her labor. "Abbie and Slats" by Raeburn Van Buuren features an estranged millionaire named Wilberforce Grogging returning from New York who plans to create a gardening grooming cream and establish it as a national product, but faces complications regarding the use of the name and trademark. "Fritzi Ritz" concludes with a Western-themed adventure at a dude ranch where Fritzi encounters dangerous horses and narrowly escapes being thrown and trampled while riding.
