This anthology issue contains two main stories. The first features Alias X, a spy operative who intercepts Nazi plans to attack Berlin and successfully locates and captures two enemy agents working with a submarine to target an American freighter. The second story follows Miss Dander, who is delayed leaving an "America First" meeting at a business office and is admonished by an elderly butcher shop owner for prioritizing the meeting over her war effort work, establishing a home-front narrative about American civilian values during wartime.
