Vic Flint #1

Crime buster Vic Flint pursues a criminal named Hippo, who kidnaps a woman named Libby and takes her to a hotel room. After subduing Hippo, Flint learns from a blueprint that Hippo is connected to someone called "the phone" and travels to the Yukon to investigate further. Flint tracks his quarry to a padlocked hotel and engages in a confrontation that culminates in a desperate escape sequence involving an elevator shaft and cable.
