Vic Flint #2

Detective Vic Flint receives a call from Marcia Melcroft asking him to meet her, revealing that York Melcroft has been snooping and is planning something. Flint borrows a jeep from Melcroft after being told all other cars are unavailable, with Melcroft's mechanic Twilight giving him coveralls to disguise the vehicle. While driving to Nugget Hill, Flint discovers a murder has occurred at the Melcroft swimming pool involving a character named Lash Thorn, who appears to have come back to life. The story concludes with criminals executing a heist involving dynamite and an armored car on a lonely Pittsburgh road in 1927, with their plan ultimately resulting in an explosion.
