A wealthy young woman named Victoria invites her gang of friends to her home, assuring her mother they will behave properly. When her mother's stuffy friend arrives unexpectedly, Victoria's friends create chaos throughout the house—swinging from the banister, making a mess in the kitchen, and generally causing mayhem. Victoria frantically attempts to hide the disorder and convince the visitor that her well-behaved gang can be trusted in society, while her friends scramble to clean up before being discovered. The story concludes with the gang helping to prepare food and attempting to restore order to the house.
