This issue contains multiple stories. "Fog Was My Shroud" depicts a catastrophic fog that engulfs a city, causing death and decay everywhere, with nothing left but a burned city in its wake. Another story features John Trent, who receives a phone call from an old acquaintance asking him to teach a lesson at a haunted house on Cold Spring Road; John agrees to help, and that night he drives his wife there, but the car inexplicably stalls near the mansion, which has a reputation for murders.
