Wambi #17

This issue contains two jungle adventure stories. In the first, Wambi the jungle boy and his animal friends—including a leopard and a great ape—help protect a Singhali village from attack by a band of demon pygmies armed with poisoned arrows, ultimately defeating them through the combined efforts of the jungle creatures. In the second story, "King of the Congo," a man and his son search the African jungle for a rare white elephant calf, which they believe holds the key to solving a riddle about sacred beasts in the Atunga region, while navigating both the dangers of the wilderness and competition from rival hunters.
