Wambi #6
In "Wambi the Jungle Boy," written by Roy Smith, the young jungle hero uses his stone axe to destroy the bamboo poles of a man-cub's cage and helps a hairy, dull-witted creature escape. When a witch doctor's trickery causes a princess to be imprisoned and blamed for evil, Wambi hears her story and learns of K'nagi's plot, ultimately exposing the deception through a tiger. With the help of his animal friends, Wambi battles Buana's forces and their animals in a fierce confrontation, after which the chief rewards him for saving his people and teaching a lesson about returning good for evil.
