Wambi, Jungle Boy #12

Wambi protects jungle animals from an evil hunter who is capturing and poisoning them to stockpile them in cages. The hunter employs African workers and plans to transport the animals by driving them into a stockade using fire and wind. Wambi must stop the hunter's scheme to save his animal friends, including a giant python that terrorizes the jungle. In a backup story, Wambi encounters a man-cub who has been taught by Hambi (an old jungle dweller) to hunt and survive in the wilderness, leading to a test involving a leopard and a confrontation with a giant python.
