This is an anthology issue containing at least two crime stories. The first story features a man working for "Old Man Green" who falls in love with Ellen, a beautiful woman he meets, but becomes entangled in a dangerous criminal scheme involving the Daley Brothers' fake police uniforms and a gangland massacre that leaves him guilty and afraid. The second story, "Lady Luck Is Fickle," depicts Big Nick Scadron, a gambling racketeer who preys on the weak in a mid-western city, using gambling as a vice to lure victims into his web of corruption and destruction.
