"Last Chance on Hopeless Hill" follows Infantry Sergeant Tom Carroll and his outfit during intense combat on Hopeless Hill, where they defend a farmhouse position against repeated waves of enemy attack. After a grueling battle that leaves the men exhausted and nearly out of ammunition, they discover an enemy soldier hiding nearby and bring him inside, only to learn he is actually a Korean girl named Ochan Lee who has been helping Allied forces. The soldiers resolve to make their stand at the farmhouse as their final position, preparing for the enemy's biggest charge.
