Sergeant Crabb leads a squad to attack the vessels, but they encounter unexpected Japanese resistance, including the "Red Dragon"—a formidable enemy fighter who proves difficult to eliminate. After a fierce firefight that results in heavy casualties, the Americans ultimately defeat their opponent and destroy the enemy position, though at considerable cost.
