Warpath #3 (April 1955) Spotted Fawn's father Sewana faces a dilemma choosing between two rival suitors—Swift Bow and Red Feather—both of whom present identical gifts to win his daughter's hand, leaving him unable to decide which man is worthier. When Swift Bow learns that Red Feather has brought matching steeds, he bursts into hysterical laughter, revealing his contempt for his rival. Red Feather then enters the great forest seeking spiritual guidance, where he communes with the forest spirits and animals, ultimately realizing he cannot kill his rival; instead, he returns resolved that the choice of Spotted Fawn's husband must not be made yet.
