This anthology issue contains three stories: "The Haunts of Devil's Lake," in which a woman confronts mysterious supernatural forces; "Fury of the Macabre Mannequins," where Dr. Jacques Duval's surgical creation of a lifelike mannequin becomes the subject of a dangerous heist involving criminals who mistake the dummy for a real person and seek to steal a valuable ruby from it; and "Wraith of the Battle Vest," featuring an American named Tony Mangle who inherits a Scottish castle and becomes entangled in a quest involving a mysterious battle vest costume tied to a rivalry over a girl and an earl's attempt at vengeance.
