This anthology issue contains two stories: "Missing Diamonds," in which Detective Malone investigates the death of a man aboard a ship, uncovering that what appeared to be suicide was actually murder orchestrated by the victim's wife, who had planned to have him executed by electric chair to prevent him from benefiting from his own death; and "Secret of Edenford Castle," featuring a scientist and refugee named Dr. Harmon who is approached by international espionage operatives seeking his secret research on synthetic diamonds, leading to a plot to steal both his formulas and diamond samples.
