Western Fighters v3 #12
This anthology issue contains at least two stories. The first, "Where the Gun Was Law," depicts a conflict between a Native American warrior named Skioamah and settlers, culminating in Skioamah becoming a legendary figure whose name enters Native American folklore. "Cripple Creek Boomerang" follows a scheme in the Colorado town of Cripple Creek where a con man named King Owen swindles citizens by selling them barren rock piles as gold mining land; when the victims discover the fraud, they plot to plant actual gold in a shaft to deceive King Owen in return.
