"Wings Bordon" follows America's ace aviator Wings Bordon of the U.S. Army as he tests a new lightweight bantam fighting ship for the military while mysterious enemies observe his operations, leading to action involving a kidnapping plot. "Dick Blaze, Five-Letter Man at Yardley" depicts college athlete Dick Blaze competing in an intercollegiate fencing tournament, where he witnesses two college men discussing a murder plot involving killing someone named Todd with a rubber button off a foil, prompting Blaze and his coach to intervene.
