Whiz Comics #22

The main story features Captain Marvel and his young companion Billy Batson confronting the Rattler, a criminal who has kidnapped Billy's friend Carol and stolen a horse. The Rattler uses white wind hoof prints to mask his trail, but Captain Marvel tracks him to retrieve the horse and rescue Carol. The issue also contains an adventure involving a cave encounter with mysterious figures and armed conflict at sea, as well as a jungle sequence featuring Leap Nero and Voodoo battling a cliff dragon and monsters atop a treacherous ledge that threatens to collapse.
