Wings Comics #20

Wings Comics #20 is an anthology featuring multiple aviation-themed stories. The lead story, "Cloud Coffins for Japs—Made in U.S.A.!" stars Captain Wings battling Pacific War-skies enemies. "Jane Martin, War Nurse" by P.E. Lincoln depicts a female medical worker at a British air base in Africa who rescues a wounded man brought by native bearers, then discovers him at a jungle location where she must tend to the sick. "Clipper Kirk" features Kirk and his partner Clipper in a bombing mission where they must deliver plans to Berlin despite Nazi interference, eventually resulting in Kirk being grounded. "Greaseemonkey Griffin" follows Griffin as a bomber pilot who takes off on a bombing run, encounters mechanical trouble, and must lighten his load mid-flight to make it home safely.
