Wonderworld Comics #11

An anthology issue featuring several stories: "Spark Stevens of the Navy" follows a naval officer at the U.S. base on Guam, where a white girl is mysteriously kidnapped from a window. "K-51: Spies at War" depicts espionage and military conflict during wartime. "Patty O'Day, Newsreel Reporter" and other features round out the issue, along with a story involving Professor Gnu's mysterious gold mine where a character named Shorty investigates a disappearing water mystery by following a dry riverbed. The Flame, depicted on the cover in his signature yellow and red costume, battles enemies aboard aircraft in an aerial combat scene.
