An anthology issue featuring multiple stories: a Patty O'Day newsreel segment where the young reporter is sent to investigate trouble at mines in Guatemala, encountering pirates and children aboard a ship; "Buddy Learns About The Pirates' Weapons," an educational tale by S. M. Icer where Old Uncle Caleb recounts to a boy named Buddy the historical details of pirate weaponry and tactics from the golden age of piracy; and a K-51 spy story in which agents Robinson and others engage in gunfire and pursuit at a drug store phone booth and its surroundings, with one criminal saying another will be "sent up for murder."
