Wow Comics #16

This anthology issue features Mary Marvel in "Ride to the Moon," in which she pilots a fantastical ark-shaped vessel filled with animals to the lunar surface. The issue also includes a story featuring a blue-costumed hero confronting an enemy agent named Li Fo and discovering an impostor, as well as an action sequence involving allied fighters attacking enemy aircraft, including encounters with strange flying weapons called "Pillboxes" and combat with a famous "Cometplane." Additionally, the comic contains a humorous story about Perkins the strongman being recruited for a circus act, where he is eventually captured and brought down to earth by circus performers before being rewarded with free meals at a butcher shop.
