This issue contains two Wyatt Earp stories. In "Evil Combine," Earp tracks a killer responsible for a year-old cold case involving a calm prophet town and three men who preached peace, uncovering a connection to a mysterious organization that controls the settlement. In "Shotgun Justice," Earp, as marshal of Mesa Bend, confronts the outlaw Skinny Holiday and his gang of rustlers, including a masked raider who uses unconventional tactics and poses as a young lawyer before being exposed and pursued by Earp across the frontier landscape.
