Young Eagle #2

Young Eagle is tasked by the tribal council to obtain medicine sticks (dollars) to become the new medicine man of the tribe, claiming the sky spirits will only answer to the chosen one. Young Eagle deceives the council, stating he can summon the spirits to the canyon, then escapes his cell by striking a guard and flees with the medicine sticks. Army scouts pursue him through the canyon, where two fierce yellow-eyed creatures suddenly appear and attack the soldiers, forcing Young Eagle to make his escape. The issue also includes "Revenge," a prose Western story by Martin Smith about a man named Bart Thompson who returns after five years to settle a score with Len Kendall over an old bank robbery and murder.
