Young Eagle #5

This issue contains two stories. "White Brother" follows Young Eagle and Jim Slayin as they navigate the unending conflict between Indians and settlers, with Young Eagle mistrusting the whites and viewing them as treacherous enemies, while a white man riding into a Hogan encounters tribal chiefs who debate whether to follow the path of peace or war. "Molasses Mouth" is a humorous short story about a character named Molasses Mouth, a dry humorist who misunderstands situations—believing he caught a cold from eating salted mackerel when it was actually the rain making him wet.
